Three types of petroleum products—petrol, diesel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) were imported during the period.TAG_OPEN_div_11 According to the Kakarbhitta Customs Office, petrol amounted to Rs 12.18 billion, diesel worth Rs 9.55 billion and LPG worth Rs 2.77 billion.
In the fiscal year TAG_OPEN_div_9 2081÷82, petrol was imported worth Rs 8.92 billion and diesel worth Rs 7.03 billion.
According to Shiva TAG_OPEN_div_7 Lal Neupane, chief of the office, Rs 5.85 billion was collected from petrol in the last fiscal year and Rs 2.93 billion from diesel by importing petroleum products.
