Mechi customs collection reaches 93.30 per cent of revenue target

Cover. The Mechi Customs Office has collected 93.30 per cent of the target revenue in the fiscal year 2082/83. In the last four fiscal years, the target achievement rate of the office has increased from 70.21 percent to 93.30 percent.
According to the office, the target was set to collect revenue of Rs 18.88 billion in the fiscal year 2082/83.TAG_OPEN_div_26 During the period, Rs 17.67 billion revenue was collected. Compared to the previous fiscal year, revenue collection increased by around Rs 1.74 billion.
In the fiscal year TAG_OPEN_div_24 2081/82, the office was given a target of collecting revenue of Rs 17.34 billion. The office had collected revenue of Rs 15.93 billion in the last fiscal year and achieved 91.86 per cent of the target.
In the fiscal year 2080/81, against the target of collecting revenue of Rs 18.25 billion, Rs 14.TAG_OPEN_div_22 23 billion was collected. That year, the target was achieved by 78.40 percent.
In the fiscal year 2079/80, the target was Rs 20.24 billion and Rs 14.04 billion was collected. At that time, the target was 70.21 percent.

Although there have been some fluctuations in the annual target, the real revenue collection has been steadily increasing in recent years.

Other small customs offices are not in operation at present.
