Sick industries have started improving, foundation of ‘self-reliant Nepal’ strengthened: PM Balen Shah

. Prime Minister Balendra (Balen) Shah has said that the national industries and corporations which have been closed for years, are showing signs of improvement.

Stating that the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) earned Rs 6.27 billion in the period from April to mid-July of the last fiscal year, the Prime Minister said that the seat utilization rate of the corporation has reached 86 percent and loan installments are also being paid regularly.TAG_OPEN_p_24

Similarly, the Dairy Development Corporation (DDC) has claimed that the payment period of farmers’ dues has been reduced from 8 months to 2-3 months, daily sales have increased by 35 percent and financial discipline has improved.TAG_OPEN_p_23 He also said that DDC was preparing to export ghee to the Gulf countries and butter and chhurpi to China in the near future.
