Kathmandu. Makar Jitumaya Suri Hydropower Company has announced its unrefined financial results for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2082/83.

The company earned a net profit of Rs 7.82 crore in the same period last year. The profit increased by 67.57 percent compared to the same period last year.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 4,669,000 in the same quarter last year.

During this period, the company’s income from the sale of electricity has improved. In the previous fiscal year, the company had sold electricity to the tune of Rs 38.86 crore. It had increased by 0.89 percent to Rs 392 million in the same period of the previous year.

During the period, the company’s operating profit declined by 0.39 percent to Rs 22.98 crore. The company’s financial expenses decreased by 18.06 percent to Rs 15.85 crore.

The company’s paid-up capital increased by 238.14 percent to Rs 11.11 crore. The company has EPS of Rs 10.30 and net worth per share of Rs 114.62.
