From breakfast to dinner, high-life, rice to lentils expanded

Kathmandu. Highlife Foods, which is active in the food and consumer goods sector, has expanded its product range and has also started the business of lentils from this year. The company has launched moong dal, musuro dal, moong khosta, arhar dal and mas dal in the market.

The company, which launched Basmati rice last year, said it has added lentil products as part of its strategy to expand its presence in the main food items used in the daily kitchen. The new lentil products are being made available in the market with attractive packaging.

HighLife is embarking on a strategy to establish itself as a food brand that delivers essential food items from breakfast to lunch and dinner.

According to Chairman of Hilife, Ambika Prasad Poudel, the company has so far launched more than 20 products under FMCG. Kurumkurum Bura, Choco Plus, Cornflakes, Masoura, Besan, Peanut Butter, Musli, Ketchup, Jam, Peanuts, Tea Seeds, Pastachio and other products are available in the market.

The new range of lentils includes moong dal, musuro dal, moong khosta, urahar dal and mas dal. These lentils, which are widely used in Nepali kitchens, have been brought to the market keeping in mind the quality and easy availability.

In recent years, HiLife Foods has been expanding its business by increasing its investment in various food products. The company aims to collaborate with farmers, consumers and communities to create jobs, increase production capacity and contribute to national economy.

Highlife Foods has been producing and distributing food items such as beaten rice, cornflakes, choco plus, oats, soybean, flour, tea leaves, gram flour and other food items. With the addition of Basmati rice last year and five new lentil products this year, the company has further strengthened its presence in the daily kitchen essentials.
