Kathmandu. Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City has collected Rs 30 million more revenue than the target in the current fiscal year. The sub-metropolis has collected Rs 203.7 million in revenue against the target of Rs 171.5 million in the last fiscal year.

This is an increase of Rs 37.2 million compared to the fiscal year 2081/82. In the fiscal year 2081/82, against the target of collecting Rs 162 million, Rs 166,478,933 revenue was collected.

In the fiscal year 2082/83, against the target of collecting Rs 500,000, Rs 2,126,453 has been collected. Likewise, Rs 56.1 million was collected from property tax, Rs 57.539 million from restoration tax, Rs 13.4 million 95 thousand 896 from recommendation fee and Rs 33.78 million from map pass fee.

Likewise, Rs 92,32,200 was collected from restoration and bitari tax, Rs 5,150,347 from business tax and Rs 2,968,475 from other service tax.

Chief of Revenue Section of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City, Parameshwar Jha, informed that the government has collected Rs 6.8 million revenue from other administrative service fees, Rs 1,786,700 from examination fee, Rs 597,720 from personal event registration fee, Rs 1,105,563 from administrative penalty and Rs 1.5 million from sale of government property.
