Kathmandu. Prabhu Bank has published its unaudited financial position till the end of the last fiscal year. The bank had a loss of Rs 24.12 crore as of mid-July last year.

The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 87.23 crore in the same quarter last year.

The bank’s net interest income increased to Rs. 9.26 billion in the same period of the last fiscal year from Rs. 7.19 billion in the corresponding period of the previous FY.

Similarly, the bank’s income from fees and commission has increased from Rs 2.21 billion to Rs 2.21 billion.

The operating profit of the bank decreased to Rs 1.59 billion from Rs 1.85 billion. The distributable profit of the bank stood at Rs 6.31 billion as of mid-July last year.

The bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 23.54 billion and reserve fund of Rs 15.94 billion. During the period, the bank collected deposit of Rs 348.44 billion and extended loans of Rs 214.54 billion.

The bank has net worth per share of Rs 140.92 and net worth per share of Rs 1.02. The non-performing loan of the bank increased from 7.01 percent to 15.55 percent.
