Prime Bank Q4.11 billion net profit

Kathmandu. Prime Bank of India (PMBL) has released its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. The bank has earned a net profit of Rs 4.11 billion in the last fiscal year 2082/83.

The profit increased by 28.48 percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 3.11 billion in the same quarter last year.

During the review period, the bank’s net interest income increased by 3.30 percent to Rs 9.21 billion. Similarly, the total income of the bank increased by 5.81 percent to Rs 11.90 billion. The bank’s operating profit increased by 26.95 percent to Rs 6.83 billion.

The distributable profit of the bank increased by 10.04 percent to Rs 1.90 billion in the same period last year. The dividend of the bank is 9.10 percent.

The bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 20.95 billion and reserve fund of Rs 13.97 billion.

During the period, the bank collected deposit of Rs 277.74 billion and extended loan of Rs 226.44 billion.

The bank has EPS of Rs 19.63 and net worth per share of Rs 175.80. The NPL of the bank has increased from 5.81 percent to 6.69 percent.
