Kathmandu. IGI Prudential Insurance Company Limited (IGI) has declared its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2082/083.

The company has earned a profit of Rs 40.38 crore in the same period last year. The profit was 98.89 percent lower than the corresponding period of the previous year. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 36.49 crore in the same quarter last year.

During the period, the company earned Rs 4.38 billion in premiums. It had increased by 11.23 percent in the same period of the previous year.

The company earned Rs 1.45 billion in net insurance premium and spent Rs 2.93 billion in reinsurance.

The company has EPS of Rs 0.13 and net worth per share of Rs 179.53.

The company has Rs 3.02 billion in special reserves, Rs 97.77 million in catastrophe fund, Rs 1,84,40,000 in retained earnings and Rs 42.48 crore in other equity.
