House of Representatives to meet at 1 pm on Wednesday

Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives, which was scheduled for 1:00 pm today, will take place at 1:00 pm on Wednesday. Issuing a notice today, Federal Parliament General Secretary Padma Prasad Pandey stated that the meeting has been scheduled for 1:00 pm Wednesday as per Rule 6 (3) of the House of Representatives Regulations, 2083.

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam is scheduled to present the Nepal Law Commission (First Amendment) Bill, 2083 in the meeting of the House of Representatives at 1:00 pm today.

Likewise, Minister Gautam presented a proposal seeking consideration on the ‘Reconciliation (Second Amendment) Bill-2083’. Minister Gautam is likely to present an agreement on the conservation and sustainable use of marine biodiversity in areas beyond the national jurisdiction of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea

(UNCLOS).

Likewise, Minister for Youth, Labour and Employment Ramji Yadav presented a proposal seeking clause-wise deliberation on the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Bill, 2083 BS to the respective committees.
