Securities Board of Nepal issues 3 dozen directives to 6 agencies

Kathmandu. The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has issued 3 dozen directives to 6 bodies at once.

On Tuesday, SEBON issued a 34-point directive to six agencies at once. The highest 19-point directive has been issued for the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE).

Similarly, a 5-point directive has been issued to CDSC and Clearing.

Similarly, SEBON has issued a two-point directive to listed companies, a 3-point directive to merchant bankers, a 4-point directive to securities brokers and a 1-point directive to scheme managers and depositories.

The Board has issued a directive as per Section 84 (1) (1) of the Securities Act, 2063 for the purpose of regulating and monitoring the transactions of securities market and securities entrepreneurs in order to make the securities trading stronger, effective and credible.
