Kathmandu. Super Madi Hydropower Company Limited has declared a dividend to be distributed to its shareholders from the profit of the last fiscal year. The company has decided to distribute 15.78,947% dividend of its current paid-up capital.

The company has declared 15 percent bonus shares worth Rs 34,72,87,500 and cash dividend of 0.78,947 per cent for tax purposes.

The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on August 22 has decided to distribute dividend at this rate. The dividend will be distributed after it is approved by the Electricity Regulatory Commission and endorsed by the upcoming Annual General Meeting.

The company has called its 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 17 at Hotel Imperial to approve the dividend proposal. The meeting will begin at 11:00 am.

The company is closing its book on September 8 for the purpose of AGM and dividend distribution. As per the agreement, the shareholders who have been traded in NEPSE till September 1 will be able to attend the AGM of the company and receive the dividend to be distributed by the company.
