Kathmandu. At least 19 bridges over the Trishuli River have been damaged due to the floods in the Bhotekoshi-Trishuli river, according to the Department of Roads.
According to Deputy Director General and Spokesperson of the Department of Roads, Shuvaraj Neupane, at least 19 bridges over the Trishuli River have been damaged due to the floods. He said that at least 40 kilometers of the road has been damaged and the road has collapsed.
According to Neupane, the Department of Roads has started improving the condition of roads and bridges by mobilizing heavy equipment and machines in the damaged areas.
