Flash flood in Trishuli River urges people not to go near river for fishing

Kathmandu. The District Administration Office (DAO), Dhading has urged people living around the river and rivulets to remain alert in view of the possibility of flash flood in the Trishuli River.

The Dhading district administration has said that there may be a risk of disaster in the Trishuli River entering Nepal from the Rasuwa District Administration Office, Rasuwa.

The administration has urged the people going to the vicinity of the river and river for fishing, swimming, collecting sand and pebbles and other activities in the Trishuli River not to go near the river immediately. People and workers who have gone around the river have also been requested to move to safer places.

Similarly, the administration has urged the people living on the banks of the Trishuli River, the projects under construction and operation and the offices located on the banks of the river to adopt necessary precautions.

The administration has urged one and all not to move unnecessarily to the areas adjoining the river as there may be a risk of flood due to the rise in the water level in the river.

The district administration has urged the locals to immediately inform the local people’s representatives, the nearest security agency or the District Emergency Work Operation Centre in case of any disaster-related incident.
