Kathmandu. Rasuwa: Floods have caused damages to the branches of Nepal Investment Mega Bank in Timure and Syafrubesi. As many as 7 people including bank employees have gone missing after the floods.

One employee of Timure branch is missing while 6 employees including 3 employees of Syafrubesi branch have gone missing. Bank’s information officer Pramod Acharya said that helicopter has been mobilized for the search and rescue operation.

According to Acharya, the work of tracking the location of incommunicado employees and other people is underway. The bank said it is coordinating with the concerned bodies for the rescue of the Nepalis.

The bank is collecting more details about the situation in the affected areas after both the branches were damaged by the floods.
