12 employees of Upper Trishuli III B project out of contact

Kathmandu. As many as 12 employees working as supervisory consultants at the Upper Trishuli III B Hydroelectric Project have gone missing due to the flooding in the Bhotekoshi River on Wednesday.

A total of 12 employees of different levels of Chilime Engineering Mond Services Company Limited have been requested for rescue and search as they are out of contact as they are the consultant for supervision of the project.

Bimal Kadariya, administrative officer of Chilime Engineering Manda Services Company Limited, said that 12 employees of the Upper Trishuli 3B Hydroelectric Project are out of contact and requested the concerned authorities to search for them.

According to the company, senior team leader Kamal Bahadur Pandey, construction engineer Manoj KC, senior geologist Sumesh Amatya, senior construction engineer Niraj Shrestha and company’s administrator and accounts officer Mani Dahal have gone missing in the project.

Likewise, senior electrical engineer Rabindra Kumar Yadav, civil engineer Prabin Amatya, contract pond planning engineer Prateek Bhatta, civil engineer Hemanta Raj Joshi, driver Mahesh Nepali, cook Khil Bahadur Budhathoki and cook Poonam Neupane are also missing in the mishap.
