Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra Shah has reached Bidur of Nuwakot on Thursday. He has reached the place by road for an on-site inspection.
Prime Minister Shah is accompanied by Minister for Infrastructure Development Sunil Lamsal.
Immediately after the floods in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa on Wednesday, Shah had called high-level meetings and directed the subordinate bodies for rescue and relief work.
Although many places have been damaged due to floods, Prime Minister Shah inspected the affected settlements in and around Bidur of Nuwakot district today.
During the visit, the Prime Minister and the team of Infrastructure Ministers will take first-hand information about the physical damage caused by the floods and will hold discussions with the local administration, security agencies and people’s representatives regarding relief, rehabilitation and operation of the damaged infrastructure. They are also scheduled to give necessary instructions to expedite the relief and reconstruction of infrastructure in all the affected areas.
