Kathmandu. Gorkha Brewery has donated Rs 10 crore to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund for relief, rescue, search and rehabilitation in the flood-affected areas of Rasuwa.
The government is mobilizing the amount received in the flood-affected areas through a one-door system. In this connection, Gorkha Brewery has donated Rs 10 crore in cash.
Gorkha Brewery’s Managing Director Arun Adhikari, Finance Director Amar Vaidya and Marketing Director Kajiman Subba handed over the assistance to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle.
The flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa has caused a loss of life and property in the affected areas and also caused great damage to the local infrastructure. The government has been mobilizing assistance from various agencies and the private sector for the rescue, distribution of relief and rehabilitation of the damaged structures.
This assistance from Gorkha Brewery will be used for relief, rescue, search and rehabilitation of the flood-affected people.
