Rescue by helicopter will continue from this morning

Kathmandu. Rasuwa: Nepal Army and private sector helicopters will rescue people injured and at risk due to the flooded Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa from this morning.

A meeting of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) held a while ago decided to rescue the injured from the flood-hit areas and treat them at the camps to be set up at Dhunche of Rasuwa and Bidur of Nuwakot, said Home Ministry Spokesperson Anand Kafle.TAG_OPEN_div_6

According to him, preparations are underway to rescue the seriously injured and bring them to Kathmandu immediately. Rescue and treatment will be forwarded by classifying the injured according to their condition. Similarly, the necessary relief materials for the affected people have been sent to the Nepal Army barracks in Bidur via land route.TAG_OPEN_div_4
