Kathmandu. Sanima Bank Limited has decided to provide Rs 2.25 crore for the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by the devastating floods and landslides in the Bhotekoshi River.
The bank has said that it will deposit the amount in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund. The bank has decided to provide financial assistance to the people affected by the floods and landslides in the Bhotekoshi River on August 26 to help in relief and rehabilitation.
The amount will be provided to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund.
The massive floods and landslides in Bhotekoshi have caused huge loss of life and material and many families have been displaced. The bank has decided to provide the amount to help in post-disaster search and rescue, immediate relief and rehabilitation of the affected areas.
