Kathmandu. The United Kingdom has announced a grant of 5 million pounds (about Rs 1.37 billion) to Nepal to deal with the crisis caused by the devastating floods in Nepal.
Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Andy Burnham, on Thursday announced the support and pledged to provide every possible support for the rescue and relief of Nepalis affected by the floods.
The amount is being provided to help in relief and rehabilitation works in the flood-affected areas.
