Four employees trapped inside Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Centre rescued

Kathmandu. Four employees trapped inside the Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Center have been rescued safely. According to the secretariat of Energy Minister Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, the rescue team has rescued the employees trapped inside the center amidst adverse weather.

The rescued employees have been identified as Bhakta Bahadur Majhi, Bal Bahadur Majhi, Rajan BK and Sunil Majhi. Despite the adverse weather, the rescue team was able to bring them to a safe place with continuous efforts.

Meanwhile, necessary preparations are also being made for possible rescue at the Trishuli-3 ‘B’ hydropower project. The concerned agencies are active in providing necessary rescue and relief in the affected areas.

Though the rescue works have been delayed for some time due to adverse weather, the campaign has been continued continuously, giving high priority to the rescue of people at risk, according to the Energy Minister’s Secretariat.
