Arghakhanchi Cement donates Rs 1.11 crore to flood victims

Kathmandu. Arghakhanchi Cement Pvt Ltd has donated Rs 1.11 crore for the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of the people affected by the Bhotekoshi floods. The company’s Chairman Pashupati Murarka and Managing Director Rajesh Agrawal jointly handed over the amount to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle for the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund.

According to the company, the amount has been provided to help in the relief and rescue of the affected people at a time when various districts are facing huge loss of life and property due to natural disasters. Stating that the social responsibility of the private sector is important during the time of disaster, they stressed the need for the government, private sector and social organizations to come together to help the affected citizens.

Arghakhanchi Cement Pvt. Ltd. has said it will continue its support as part of its social responsibility in the days ahead, prioritizing support to the affected people during the time of disaster and crisis.
