Kathmandu. Nepal Telecom has resumed services in seven more places in the flood-affected areas today. With this, most of the mobile BTS sites in the flood-affected areas have been reopened.

The sites that have come into operation today include the Rasuwa border site along the Nepal-China border in Rasuwa district, Upper Shenzhen, Chhapathoke, Jipzipe and Gatlang.

Similarly, the Charghare and Charghare Mulabari BTS sites of Nuwakot have also been reopened. Spokesperson Dr Kamal Lamichhane said that the service from Nepal-China border, Timure, Rasuwa border corridor and Syaphrubesi to Bhotekoshi corridor has been reopened through the Rasuwa Border BTS site.

Mobile services will be available from the Upper Schengen site in Chilime, Lamagaun, Amachhongdimo-5, among other places. He said that the mobile service will be available from the Chhapathoke site in Betrawati, Kauli, Trishuli 3B, Uttargaya Rural Municipality and Kispang.

The places where the service will be provided by the Zipzipe site are Ward No. 2 and 5, Dharapani and Deurali Danda of Kalika Rural Municipality. Similarly, Gatlang, Goljung, Chilime, Thulo Bharkhu, Sherpa Village, Thulo Syaphrubesi, Khangjum and Barim are covered through the Gatlang BTS site.

Mobile services have been restored in Ward No. 12 and 13 of Bidur Municipality from the Charghare and Charghare Mulabari BTS sites. Nepal Telecom has stated that the technicians of Nepal Telecom are continuously working to facilitate the communication needs of the citizens in this situation of disaster and the company is committed to ensure the service as always.
