Kathmandu. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Biraj Bhakta Shrestha has reached Trishuli of Nuwakot.

Minister Shrestha, who arrived in Nuwakot to inspect the flood-hit hydropower projects and take stock of the rescue works, held discussions with Home Minister Sudhan Gurung at the Army Training Center in Trishuli.

Home Minister Gurung is coordinating the rescue operation from the Army Training Center.

Senior officials of the Nepal Army deputed in the rescue operation of the tunnel of the hydropower project briefed Minister Shrestha about the latest progress details.

Minister Shrestha is accompanied by Prime Minister’s Political Advisor Asim Shah.

After receiving the briefing, Minister Shrestha is scheduled to inspect the rescue site of Rasuwa Hydropower Project by helicopter and hold discussion with the victims’ families.
