Shivam Cement donates 11,000 sacks of cement and Shivam Holdings donates Rs 1.1 million to flood victims

KATHMANDU: Expressing deep sorrow over the loss of life and property in the floods and landslide-affected areas including Rasuwa district affected by the devastating floods on August 26, Shivam Cement has announced to support in relief, rescue and reconstruction works.

Under this, Shivam Cement, in coordination with the government, has decided to provide 1100 sacks of Shivam O.P.C. cement free of cost to 110 households for the purpose of reconstruction of houses for flood-affected families.

Similarly, Shivam Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of Shivam Cement, has donated Rs 11 lakh to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund to support the rescue, relief and rehabilitation work. The company believes that this amount will help in making the relief, rescue and post-disaster reconstruction campaign of the flood-affected people more effective.

Shivam Cement is committed to continue working with the government, local bodies and related agencies in this difficult time of disaster to help rebuild the lives of the affected citizens.
