Chaudhary Foundation has decided to provide effective support to the Tribhuvan Trishuli Secondary School in Nuwakot, which was the most affected by the Rasuwa floods, to bring it into operation immediately. Chaudhary Foundation is providing emergency support to the flood-affected students to return to school and reduce their psychological impact and to continue their studies.

Chaudhary Foundation is going to make arrangements to conduct classes in the school according to the concept of digital classrooms. For this, smart boards, desktops, laptops, projectors and internet will be arranged. Similarly, furniture ready in Kathmandu will be delivered to the schools to arrange furniture in the classrooms. School bags and stationery materials will also be provided for the students.

Principal of the school, Rajendra Dawadi, said that arrangements are being made for an alternative building to bring the school into operation. Chaudhary Foundation will help to run the school from the same building.TAG_OPEN_p_9

About one thousand TAG_OPEN_p_8 six hundred students were studying in Tribhuvan Trishuli Secondary School. The school was destroyed by the flood on August 26.

“We want to continue the classes at Tribhuvan Trishuli Secondary School as soon as possible under our emergency assistance program to protect the children from the psychological impact of the flood-affected areas and to be sensitive to their education,” said Nirvana Chaudhary, chairman of Chaudhary Foundation.
