Rs 135 million allocated for flood-affected 15 local levels

{{TAG_OPEN_div_28} Kathmandu. The government has released Rs 135 million to 15 local levels of five districts affected by the floods in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa. The government has released the amount to these municipalities in two phases.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the government had decided to provide Rs 10 million each for Rasuwa and Nuwakot and Rs 50 lakh for Dhading immediately after the floods in the Trishuli River via Bhotekoshi. After that, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority released Rs 65 million on August 26 and Rs 65 million on August 16.TAG_OPEN_div_26

According to the NRA, Rs TAG_OPEN_div_24 15 million has been released to Uttargaya Rural Municipality, Rs 20 million to Gosainkunda Rural Municipality, Rs 6 million to Kalika Rural Municipality and Rs 4 million to Aama Chhodingmo Rural Municipality.

Similarly, Rs TAG_OPEN_div_22 30 million has been allocated for Bidur Municipality of Nuwakot, Rs 15 million for Belkotgadhi Municipality, Rs 50 lakh for Kispang Rural Municipality and Rs 10 million for Tarakeshwor Rural Municipality.

Similarly, Galchhi Rural Municipality of Dhading has been allocated Rs 6 million, Siddhalek Rural Municipality Rs 4 million, Gajuri Rural Municipality Rs 4 million and Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality Rs 4 million.TAG_OPEN_div_20

Similarly, Gandaki Rural Municipality of Gorkha has been allocated Rs 4 million, Devghat Rural Municipality of Tanahun and Rs 4 million to Anbukhairani Rural Municipality.TAG_OPEN_div_18

Meanwhile, Rs 7 TAG_OPEN_div_16.88 billion has been deposited in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund and the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund, according to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.

After the release of Rs 10 million to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority on September 30, the fund now has a reserve of Rs 6.88 billion. In addition, an additional $61,41,702 has been deposited in the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
