Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has fixed the maximum wholesale price of agricultural produce for today.

According to the committee, the price of tomato (Nepali) big (Nepali) per kg was Rs 80 per kg, tomato big (Indian) Rs 80 per kg, tomato small (local) Rs 30 per kg, tomato small (tunnel) per kg Rs 45 per kg, tomato small (rice) per kg, potato red (lamcho) per kg Rs 51, potato red (round) Rs 53 per kg, potato red (Indian) Rs 40 per kg, potato white (Indian) Rs 40 per kg and onion dried (Indian) Rs 98 per kg.

Similarly, the price of carrot (local) has been increased to Rs 100 per kg, carrot (tarai per kg), cabbage (local) Rs 30 per kg, cauliflower local per kg, red radish Rs 30 per kg, white radish (local) Rs 35 per kg, brinjal lamcho per kg and brinjal dal Rs 40 per kg.

According to the committee, beans have been sold at Rs 60 per kg, maize beans at Rs 100 per kg, ghee beans (local) at Rs 80 per kg, ghee beans (local) at Rs 80 per kg, Tata beans at Rs 80 per kg, soybean beans at Rs 140 per kg, bitter gourd at Rs 50 per kg, pointed gourd at Rs 50 per kg, pointed gourd at Rs 70 per kg, Chichindo at Rs 30 per kg, Ghiraula at Rs 20 per kg, Jhiguni at Rs 60 per kg, Persian beans at Rs 60 per kg, green beans at Rs 40 per kg, okra at Rs 40 per kg, sweet potato at Rs 120 per kg, pindalu at Rs 70 per kg and squash at Rs 30 per kg.

Mustard has been fixed at Rs 60 per kg, spinach at Rs 150 per kg, mustard greens Rs 100 per kg, onion (green) Rs 150 per kg, mushroom (ole) Rs 240 per kg, mushroom (dalle) Rs 500 per kg, king mushroom Rs 330 per kg and Sitake mushroom Rs 1,000 per kg.

Likewise, the price of tomato has been fixed at Rs 500 per kg, Neuro Rs 100 per kg, Broccoli Rs 120 per kg, Beetroot Rs 70 per kg, Sajeevan Rs 250 per kg, Red Cabbage Rs 60 per kg, Jiri greens Rs 500 per kg, Celery Rs 500 per kg, Parsle Rs 1,800 per kg, Fennel greens Rs 150 per kg, Mint 700 per kg, Gangteradish 150 per kg, Tamarind per kg, Copper 160 per kg, Tofu per 160 per kg, Gundruk per kg and tree tomato Rs 300 per kg.

Apple (Fuji) has been fixed at Rs 400 per kg, banana (Nepali) Rs 300, banana (Malbhog) Rs 200, lemon Rs 400 per kg, pomegranate Rs 300 per kg, watermelon (green) Rs 60 per kg, junar Rs 200 per kg, pineapple Rs 200 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 60 per kg, cucumber (local) per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 60 per kg, jackfruit per kg 50 per kg, pear (local) Rs 100, pear (Chinese) Rs 250 per kg, papaya (Nepali) per kg 80, papaya (Indian) per kg, lapsi per kg 60, kiwi (400 kg), avocado per kg 250, Amla per kg 200, coconut (raw) Rs 80 per kg and coconut (green) Rs 170 per kg.
