KATHMANDU — Bagmati Province Chief Minister Kiran Thapa Magar has said that the provincial government would take responsibility for the education, dreams and future of the children who lost their parents in floods and landslides in Rasuwa.
Expressing sorrow over the loss of life and property due to floods and landslides in Rasuwa, Chief Minister Thapa Magar pledged that the Bagmati state government would provide support to the disaster-affected families not only as the government but also as a family.
Chief Minister Thapa Magar said that the future of the children who have lost their parents will not be darkened and the state government is committed to ensure their education and future. He said, “We will not allow the future of the children who lost their parents in floods and landslides to be dark. The Bagmati Province government will take responsibility for their education, dreams and future.” ’
Chief Minister Thapa Magar assured the people of Rasuwa who are in the pain of disaster that the state government would be with them in their hour of sorrow. He said, “We will support the people of Rasuwa as a family and not the government in this hour of sorrow.” ’
He also pledged to provide necessary support and facilitation from the government for rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by floods and landslides in Rasuwa.
