Kathmandu. A rescue team led by the Nepal Army has retrieved the body of a person trapped inside the tunnel of the flood-hit Trishuli-3 ‘A’ hydropower project.

Sheshnath Bhattarai, a local of Simle area of Nuwakot district, said that a person dead body has been retrieved from the tunnel of the tunnel.

According to him, the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police as well as Chinese and American experts are involved after rescuing two employees of the same hydropower project alive this morning.

Assistant Chief District Officer of Rasuwa, Druba Prasad Adhikari, said that distribution of essential goods including food items through helicopter is going on in full swing even though the weather is not clear due to cloudy weather in the flood-affected areas.
