Kathmandu. In the history of kickboxing, Nepali youth boxer Abiral Ghimire ‘Himalayan Leopard’ has once again achieved historic success.

The ‘Himalayan Leopard’ created history by defeating French boxer Mathan Chouinard in the knockout match of the main event of the ‘Hit Kick Boxing-59 International Sports Kick Boxing Federation, World Championship’ held at Kariya Hall in Nagoya, Japan this evening. Boxer Chouinard is the world champion of 2025.

In the second minute of the second round, boxer Ghimire defeated his opponent Chouinard by knockout.

He has participated in 29 international tournaments so far and is the only Nepali player to win 21 matches and win 20 by knockout. Boxer Ghimire, who has brought Nepal’s pride, courage and Nepali pride to the international arena through kick boxing, has become the shining star of Nepal.

After the victory, boxer Ghimire expressed sorrow over the irreparable loss of life and property caused by the recent floods in Rasuwa and said that he would help the victims. He also thanked all those who have come and supported his game so far.
