Of the 362 dead bodies recovered in Chitwan, 333 have been managed and DNA samples collected from 68 relatives

Chitwan. The management of the dead bodies found in Chitwan from the banks of Trishuli and Narayani rivers after the floods in Bhotekoshi of Rasuwa is underway, collecting and identifying DNA samples.

According to Chandra Bhusan Yadav, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the District Police Office, 362 bodies have been recovered in Chitwan so far. Of them, 333 bodies have been managed and 14 bodies have been handed over to their relatives after identification.TAG_OPEN_div_18

DNA samples were collected from September 1 for the scientific identification of the dead bodies. According to Yadav, DNA samples of 68 relatives of the missing persons have been collected till September 3.TAG_OPEN_div_16
