Bhotekoshi floods: Nilkantha Municipality provides Rs 40,000 assistance to families of deceased

Dhading. The Nilkantha Municipality has started providing Rs 40,000 to the families of those who lost their lives in the unprecedented floods in the Bhotekoshi River.

The people’s representatives of Nilkantha Municipality reached the houses of the deceased and handed over the amount.TAG_OPEN_div_10

According to preliminary reports, 38 residents of the city have been killed in the floods. Some of them have been confirmed dead and some are still missing. Some families have started the last rites saying that there is no possibility of finding the missing relatives alive.

The municipality said it is coordinating with the bodies concerned to search for the incommunicado-free citizens.TAG_OPEN_div_6
