President Bhandari inspects flood-hit areas of Nuwakot

Nuwakot. President Ram Chandra Poudel has inquired about the situation in the flood-affected area of Nuwakot.

} He took information from the District Disaster Management Committee about the search and rescue works, relief distribution, operation of holding center and rehabilitation works being carried out in the flood-affected areas.

On the occasion, Chief District Officer (CDO) Shambhu Prasad Regmi and other committee members presented details of the damage caused by the Bhotekoshi floods in the district.TAG_OPEN_div_20

On the occasion, Chief District Officer Regmi apprised President Poudel about the works being carried out for the search, rescue, relief, rehabilitation and immediate reconstruction of the flood victims.TAG_OPEN_div_18

President Poudel inspected the holding centre at Covered Hall at Bidur Municipality-2 and interacted with the flood affected people of Rasuwa and Nuwakot.TAG_OPEN_div_16

In the interaction, the flood-affected citizens informed about the loss of life and property caused by the unimaginable flood in Bhotekoshi.TAG_OPEN_div_14

} They demanded more urgency from the government and the aid agencies for search, rescue, relief and rehabilitation.
