Home Minister Gurung: ‘Many such children have come, many have gone’, the country is behind by 25 years

Kathmandu. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has commented on Home Minister Sudhan Gurung’s remarks targeting the old political parties.

Oli, who visited his residence damaged by the arson in Balakot, reacted to Home Minister Gurung’s statement while talking to the media. Gurung had warned the old political parties on September 23 to ‘improve’. The Home Minister had said, “Earlier, you had escaped by helicopter, now that is also in our hands. Even if you climb, we will go.”

Responding to Gurung’s statement, Oli said, “Should we praise him? Many such children have come and gone. ’

Oli said that the incident of September 24 was a ‘black day’ for the country. He said that the country has been pushed back by more than 25 years due to the devastation that took place on that day.

“The country has lagged behind by more than 25 years. Those who rejoice now are at least 25 years behind. They will come to know about it later, and those who rejoice now,” Oli said.

After the arson of his own house, Oli went to inspect the condition of the damaged house today. He also became emotional while looking at the house.
