KATHMANDU — Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane is scheduled to address the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting today on the occasion of the completion of one year of the Jenji movement.
The meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled for today (Wednesday) at 1 pm. Lamichhane is scheduled to address the meeting on behalf of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
Lamichhane is going to speak in the parliament on the occasion of the completion of one year of the Jenji agitation on September 23 and 24 last year. According to the leaders of the RSP, he is preparing to address the issues raised during the agitation, the political situation after that and the work done by the government.
Likewise, Lamichhane’s address will also include the floods and landslides in Rasuwa on August 24 and the damage caused by them.
The RSP has been accusing the government of not showing sufficient urgency in the rescue and relief distribution in the flood-affected areas. Leaders say that Lamichhane is preparing to draw the attention of the government on this issue in the parliament.
Lamichhane’s address to the parliament on the occasion of the completion of one year of the Jenji movement has been seen with interest politically as well.
