Kathmandu. Secretary of the Confederation of Bank and Financial Institutions Nepal (CBFIN) Thaneshwor Poudel has donated Rs 25,25,525 to the flood victims.

Secretary Poudel, who is also the chairman of Shine Resunga Development Bank, deposited the amount in the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund through a cheque.

Secretary Poudel handed over a cheque to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle at Singha Durbar on September 9 to provide relief to the flood victims of Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading districts affected by the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River on September 25.

Secretary Poudel said that he personally extended this support with the intention of joining hands in every step taken by the government for the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims. He also called on all sides including Nepalis living in the country and abroad to openly support the rehabilitation after the damage caused by the sudden and devastating floods.
