Kathmandu. The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration has decided to transfer all government and public land in the name of the Government of Nepal as indicated by the report of the High Level Commission on Investigation and Protection of Government and Public Land (Rawal Commission) 2052.
The report formed by the ministry was submitted by the meeting of the implementation committee. On the basis of the report, the ministry has decided to deduct the said area from the plots mentioned to have encroached on government and public land in a lump sum and keep it in the name of the Government of Nepal.
Likewise, the government has decided to retain the plots mentioned in the report as part of government and public land.
Other members of the committee are Under Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Under-Secretary at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure, Chief of Survey Office Dilli Bazaar, Chief of Local Level Coordination Section, Section Officer of Department of Land Management and Records and Survey Officer Member Secretary of Survey Department.
