KATHMANDU: Nepal Association for Software and IT Services Companies (NAS-IT) has organized the ‘Nepal Tech Roadshow Switzerland 2026’ in association with Swiss Nepal Chamber of Commerce (SNCC).
In a program organized in Zurich of Switzerland on September 16, businessmen, technology representatives, investors and stakeholders of Nepal and Switzerland discussed the potential of Nepal’s IT industry and international collaborations.
The event showcased Nepal’s capabilities and proficiency in ICT growing ICT sector, skilled manpower, digital innovation, IT exports and in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI), software development, cybersecurity, cloud services, data engineering and digital transformation.
Dipen Chapagain, President of NAS-IT, said that the Nepali IT industry should showcase its potential in the international market and expand new business opportunities and collaborations. He said that the roadshow has been organized with the objective of bringing the services and technology solutions of Nepali IT companies to the global market.
On the occasion, Swiss Nepal Chamber of Commerce highlighted Nepal-Switzerland trade and technology relations and possibilities of collaboration between Nepali IT companies and Swiss businesses.
During the roadshow, 18 IT companies from Nepal showcased their services, expertise and technology solutions through a one-minute company pitch each.
During the event, Nepali companies in areas such as AI, cybersecurity, product development, IT services, BPO, custom web and application development, cloud infrastructure, and data engineering were also discussed.
Discussions were held on possible business collaborations, partnerships, investment and opportunities for expansion of international market.
NAS-IT has been organizing tech roadshows in various countries with the aim of promoting the Nepali technology industry internationally and expanding its relationship with the global market. The roadshow in Switzerland is also an effort to connect Nepali IT companies with the possibilities of international business, investment and collaboration.
The roadshow was organized with the support of Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and other stakeholders and Swiss Nepal Chamber of Commerce was the co-organizer.
