Kathmandu. Minister for Agriculture, Forest and Environment Gita Chaudhary has said that preparations will be made to ensure easy supply of chemical fertilizers to the farmers in the coming season.

The Ministry of Finance has received resource consent worth Rs 10 billion for the purchase of chemical fertilizers required for the upcoming season. After receiving the source consent, the process of inviting tenders for the purchase of fertilizers required from that amount has been started.

On the occasion, Minister Chaudhary directed the authorities concerned to prioritise procurement process and supply management so that the farmers do not face shortage of chemical fertilizers during the main season of farming season.
