Kathmandu. Minister for Agriculture, Forest and Environment Gita Chaudhary has started preparations to supply chemical fertilizers to farmers in the coming season.
The Ministry of Finance has received resource consent worth Rs 10 billion for the purchase of chemical fertilizers for the upcoming season. According to Minister Chaudhary’s secretariat, the process of inviting tenders for the purchase of fertilizers from the amount will be forwarded after receiving the source consent.
Minister Chaudhary directed the government to prioritize procurement process and supply management so that farmers do not face shortage of fertilizer during the farming season by managing fertilizer on time.TAG_OPEN_div_5
