Kathmandu. Nepal Police has banned vehicular movement on various highways during the night in view of the possibility of heavy rain in different places from September 24 to 24.

According to a notice released by Nepal Police Headquarters this afternoon, vehicular movement has been prohibited on various highways including the Prithvi Highway during the night.

Vehicles plying along the Prithvi Highway have also been completely banned from 8 pm to 5 am today. According to the Nepal Police Headquarters, the night movement of all non-essential vehicles and pedestrians has been completely banned on the Siddhicharan Highway from 6 pm to 6 am from today till September 28 due to the monsoon across the country.

Similarly, the Kanti Highway in Makwanpur district and the Bhaise-Bhimphedi Deurali Kulekhani road to Kathmandu have also been completely halted from 7 pm. Similarly, BP Highway has also been banned for vehicular movement from 5 pm to 5 am. Similarly, the Narayangadh-Muglin road section has also been banned for vehicular movement from 8 pm today to 5 am tomorrow.
