KATHMANDU: Both the Houses of the Federal Parliament are meeting today. Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, is scheduled to present the ‘Bill to Awaken the provisions of some Nepal Acts, 2083’ in the House of Representatives scheduled for 11:00 am.

Likewise, Minister for Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minority and Social Security, Sita Badi would table the Bill to amend some Nepal Acts related to women, children, gender and sexual minority and social security, 2083.

Minister for Health and Food Hygiene Nisha Mehta is scheduled to table the ‘Goods to Substitute Mango Milk (Control of Sale and Distribution) (First Amendment) Bill-2083’ in the meeting.

Likewise, Minister Mehta will present the ‘Safe Motherhood and Reproductive Health Rights (First Amendment) Bill, 2083’, the ‘Security of Health Workers and Health Institutions’ (Second Amendment) Bill, 2083 and the Ramraja Prasad Singh Academy of Health Sciences Bill, 2083.

Similarly, the meeting of the National Assembly will be held at 1:15 pm. In today’s meeting, Prime Minister Balendra Shah is scheduled to present the annual report of the Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission for the fiscal year 2081÷82.
