Kathmandu. Sun Securities Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with MoneyMaze Islington Community, organized a 30-day share simulation competition for the students of Islington College.

The competition, which started on August 22, 2083, lasted for 30 days. The participants of the competition were organized with the objective of providing practical experience of the stock market to the students, who gained knowledge about market dynamics, investment decisions, risk management, and investment portfolio management by buying and selling shares through a simulation platform.

During the competition, the students studied and analyzed the stock market activities and the performance of various companies and made investment and trading decisions. This has helped the students develop a practical understanding of the stock market and connect theoretical knowledge with practical practice.

According to the final results of the competition, Achhurna Kafle won the first position with the best performance. He received a cash prize of Rs. 25,000. Similarly, Arun Bhandari received a cash prize of Rs. 15,000 as the first runner-up and Sonu Kumar received a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 as the second runner-up.

Sun Securities has been prioritizing such educational and practical programs with the objective of promoting financial literacy, investment knowledge and practical understanding of capital markets among the younger generation.

According to the company, programs like share simulation help students understand the behavior of the stock market, make investment strategies, and develop investment decision-making skills without investing real money.

Sun Securities has thanked Islington College and MoneyMaze Islington Community for their support and cooperation in making the competition a success. It also thanked all the students who participated in the competition and congratulated the winner Achhuna Kafle, first runner-up Arun Bhandari and second runner-up Sonu Kumar.
