Kathmandu. Barun Hydropower Company Limited has called its 23rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) to endorse the proposal of distribution of dividend and issuance of 100% right shares.
The company is going to organize its general meeting on November 5 at Smart Palace in Shankha Park, Kathmandu. The meeting will start at 9:30 am.
} The meeting will pass a special resolution to distribute 4.75 percent bonus shares of the current paid-up capital from the profit of the last financial year and 0.25 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. Accordingly, the company has proposed to distribute a total dividend of 5 percent.
Similarly, a proposal to issue 100 per cent of the paid-up capital after the distribution of bonus shares will also be tabled in the meeting. If the proposal is passed, the shareholders will have the opportunity to apply for one more right share equal to each one unit of shares they hold.TAG_OPEN_div_14
