Sakhuwa’s goat market to open for three days

The market has been opened in Khireshwornath Municipality-6 of Dhanusha district due to the increase in the sale and purchase of goats during the Dashain festival. According to the Market Management Committee, the market is being operated on Thursday, Friday and Saturday keeping in mind the convenience of the consumers and farmers and traders who buy goats on the occasion of Dashain.

Prior to this, the market was open only twice a week, Tuesday and Saturday. Anil Chaudhary, a contractor of the market, said that the market has been extended due to the increase in demand for goats during Dashain and the pressure of buyers and sellers.

Contractor Chaudhary said that the market hours have been extended so that consumers can buy the goats they need during the festive season and farmers and traders can sell them easily. During Dashain, it is customary to buy goats for meat in every household.TAG_OPEN_div_24

It is expected that the market will be open for three more days and consumers will choose the time for buying and selling goats and it will be easier for farmers and traders to manage the sale.
