Kathmandu. A total of 16 candidates have applied for the post of General Manager of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC).

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation had invited applications for the vacant general manager on November 11, giving 15 days to apply for the vacant general manager. Out of which 16 applications have been received.

Out of the 16 candidates, the General Manager of the corporation will be selected as per the Procedure 2082.

Work for the same will begin on Sunday.

A selection committee has been formed under the coordination of Ministry’s Secretary Hari Prasad Mainali to recommend the post of General Manager.

The committee recommends the names of three candidates from among the eligible applicants. The ministry will take the name to the cabinet and the cabinet will appoint one person as the general manager for the next four years.
