Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: A meeting of the National Assembly has passed the Tourism Bill, 2081.
Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Anil Kumar Sinha, presented the proposal seeking the endorsement of the Tourism Bill, 2081 BS. In the meeting, he said that the bill has been brought for the diversification and promotion of tourism.
Likewise, the meeting also passed a condolence motion on the demise of former National Assembly member Shukra Raj Sanyok. Sanyok, who was elected to the National Assembly in 1998 from the Nepali Congress, died on February 2 at the age of 90.
The National Assembly will next meet at 1:15 pm on February 11.
