Gandaki. Night business operation has been banned in Kaski from coming Monday in view of the security sensitivity of the House of Representatives election.

The District Administration Office (DAO) has issued a public notice to open the hotels, restaurants, duhari evenings, clubs, dance bars, liquor shops and other night-time businesses only till 9:00 pm until another notice.

The notice issued by the Office has urged cooperation from all sides to maintain public peace, security and social harmony during the election.

It is stated that the monitoring will be carried out to find out ÷whether the rules are implemented or not and action will be taken as per the prevailing laws if anyone is found carrying out activities by disobeying the notice.

The office has also appealed to the people not to play the festival of Holi in a crowded manner in public places.

The Election Commission has issued a notice not to organize any fairs and musical programmes in a way to gather on the streets and public places due to the security sensitivity and code of conduct of the election. No one has been allowed to organize the program targeting the Falgun-festival, according to the notice issued by the office. The office has urged the families to celebrate the Phagu festival in a civilized and cultured manner on the premises of their homes.
